Dedicated June, 1996 with the arrival of the Olympic torch en route to the Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta, the Jesse Owens Museum is a tribute to the life and legacy of Jesse Owens, track and field great. He captured four Gold Medals in the 1936 Berlin Olympics, shattering Hitler’s Aryan supremacy theory. Jesse’s athletic and humanitarian achievements including a rare documentary narrated by Owens. The park includes a replica of his sharecropper birth home, bronze statue, 1936 Olympic torch replica, interactive broad jump pit, and an Olympic Gold Medal tree.

A chartered Spirit Coach will leave Ashley Furniture parking lot at 8 AM and return at 4 PM. The $38.00 fee per person will cover the bus, admission to the museum, and a tip for the driver. Costs for lunch. Min: 30, Max: 40
