Following step-by-step instructions, each student will create a terrarium consisting of four or five plants, moss, and soil. The 2-hour session will address appropriate plant selection, soil, light, and maintenance requirements. Planted to look like a miniature garden within a clear container a terrarium has all the allure of an aquarium, except plants are utilized instead of fish.
