Return to your childhood this term with four films featuring favorite child stars of Hollywood’s Golden Age. We’ll begin with Shirley Temple in the 1939 adaptation of The Little Princess. Roddy McDowall then stars in the canine classic, Lassie Come Home (1943), which also features a very young Elizabeth Taylor. Our final film takes us into the realm of comical fantasy with Margaret O’Brien in The Canterville Ghost (1944). Each screening begins with an introduction and concludes with questions and discussion time.
